New Records at Findmypast

Find My Past have just announced some further Northumberland & Durham records have been added to their collection:-

Over 32,000 records have recently been added to their Northumberland and Durham baptism collection, bringing the total up to 888,270. The records will reveal not just your ancestor's name but also his/her parents' names. You will also discover their occupations and where they lived. The records include baptisms from Presbyterian, Independent, Wesleyan, Methodist and Anglican parishes.

Explore four centuries of marriages with the addition of 37,023 records covering Northumberland, Durham, and surrounding areas, such as Newcastle, Romaldkirk and Cumberland  The records include over 800,000 marriages from over 330 parishes. Each of these records include a transcript of the original marriage transcripts.

They've added 20,000 burial records to the Northumberland and Durham burial records, bringing the total up to 651,210. Discover where your ancestor is buried, where he/she lived and an additional relatives name to add to your growing family tree.
